Zadar is a very lively and cosmopolitan town where the old meets the new.
As you walk around town you will see ancient Roman ruins, Venetian walls, and a modern “Sea Organ” which plays music using the force of the waves.
You will also take a day trip to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the most popular destinations in Croatia.
From Zadar, you will move on to the Makarska Rivijera, which has some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia.
You can spend your day sunbathing or doing watersports, then at night, you can relax with a drink at one of the many outdoor cafes and bars.
You will travel by catamaran to our final destination, Dubrovnik, which is renowned worldwide for its beauty and history,
Take a walk along the ancient city walls, before wandering through the cobbled streets of the historic old town, and you’re sure to fall in love with the place.

We will collect you and transfer you to your 3*/4* hotel in Zadar.

After breakfast, you will meet with our tour guide who will show you around some of the highlights of Zadar.
The architecture is a mix of Roman, Venetian and Byzantine, with plenty of modern installations too, including the Sea Organ and the Monument to the Sun.

Plitvice Lakes is a protected UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most popular destinations in Croatia with 1.4million visitors each year.
You’ll see the stunning waterfalls which cascade down from the 16 lakes, with there are various walking and hiking trails and viewpoints to explore.

Check out of the hotel and we will transfer you to Makarska, which will take around two hours.
You’ll have the rest of the day to spend as you wish.

After breakfast, you will meet with our tour guide who will show you around Makarska, with its lovely main square filled with open-air cafés as well as the Baroque Church of St Mark.
You will also see several elegant villas built by wealthy Venetian merchants.

You’ll have the entire day free to wander around Makarska or relax on one of the numerous beaches.
Alternatively, we can arrange a day trip to one of the beautiful islands off the Dalmatian coast.
The island of Hvar is the sunniest place on the Croatian coast and one of Croatia’s most popular luxury destinations.
Or there’s the Island of Brač with its world-famous beach in the town of Bol.
The beach is famous for its unusual shape and is popular with windsurfers, with plenty of bars and restaurants along the promenade.

Another day to spend as you wish, or we can arrange a trip to the city of Split, the second-largest city in Croatia and home to an ancient Roman palace, built by Emperor Diocletian in the 4th Century.

Check out of your hotel in Makarska, and we will collect you and transfer you to the harbour, where you will board a catamaran to take you to your next destination – Dubrovnik.
During the boat trip, you can lie back and relax, enjoying the beautiful Dalmatian coastline and islands.
When you arrive in Dubrovnik we will transfer you to your hotel, and the rest of the day is free to spend as you like.

The old town of Dubrovnik is full of interesting buildings and architecture around every corner, and our expert guide will show you around all the ancient fortresses, palaces and museums.
The city also boasts a Cathedral featuring a triptych by Titian and other artworks by the Italian masters, as well as a 14th-century Franciscan church and monastery.

Spend the day as you please in Dubrovnik, or we can arrange an additional tour for you.
Sea Kayaking is popular in Dubrovnik to explore all the hidden caves, coves and islands along the coast.
Or there is also the popular Lokrum island with walking trails among the pine and eucalyptus forest, as well as an abandoned 11th-century monastery and a Hapsburg villa, complete with botanic gardens and peacocks.
Regular ferry boats depart from Dubrovnik during the summer months.

Yes, just let your agent know that you’d like to pay in instalments. The full amount needs to be paid 60 days prior to your departure.
We’ll email the confirmation pack to you.
Three weeks before departure, we’ll send you a pack containing all your travel documents (service vouchers).
The pack will normally be sent to your home address.
Alternatively, we can arrange the delivery to another address or to your hotel in Europe (applicable for clients travelling from other continents).

Since 2007 the Croatian government has levied a tourist tax or otherwise known as a Sojourn tax.
This is a tax imposed on all visitors and is common amongst virtually all the European countries.
The tax is paid to the various tourist boards and used to maintain their tourist facilities.
The amount levied ranges from 10kn to 20kn per person, per day depending on which town/city you are staying in and the season you arrive in.
The tourist tax is calculated by the hotel and added to your final hotel bill when you check out.
