    Stroll the romantic Strossmayer promenade and enjoy the views over Zagreb lower town.

    Hit the bars and restaurants in the popular Tkalča street, just next to the Ban Jelačić square or visit the magnificent cathedral and visit the Zagreb Market – Dolac.

    Zagreb is a home to many interesting museums, some of them being the Archaeological museum and the Museum of Broken Relationships.

    Day 1ZAGREB ARRIVAL

    Welcome to Zagreb!

    We’ll pick you up from Zagreb Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Zagreb.

    Day 2ZAGREB GUIDED TOUR

    After breakfast, we’ll organise a walking tour of Zagreb for you.

    Walk the cobbled streets of Zagreb Upper Town and the buzzing Lower Town.

    On your way, you’ll see the remarkable Medieval Church of St Mark on the Parliament Square, the Zagreb Cathedral, the popular Ban Jelačić Square, the Croatian National Theatre and more.

    Free time for dinner and other activities.

    Day 3ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK (OPTIONAL)*

    After breakfast, we suggest a full day excursion to Croatia’s most spectacular national park – the Plitvice Lakes.

    The Plitvice Lakes National Park is situated in Croatia’s mountainous region of Gorski Kotar, only a 2-hour drive away from Zagreb.

    The lakes are UNESCO-protected and have been since 1979.

    The park consists of sixteen interlinked blue and green lakes with over 90 waterfalls and many wooden paths.

    Upon arrival, you’ll be taken on a guided walking tour of the lakes (make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes!).

    Enjoy your free time after the tour.

    Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

    Day 4ZAGREB – ZADAR

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel. We’ll pick you up and take you to Zagreb coach station where you will board the coach to Zadar or arrange a private taxi transfer to Zadar for you.

    Day 5ZADAR GUIDED TOUR

    After breakfast, we’ll organise a guided tour of Zadar for you.

    The Roman name for this city was Iader, and it was an important town and port throughout the Ancient and Medieval history of Croatia.

    It is full of historical and cultural sights and a home to one of the best examples of Pre-Romanesque architecture in this area – The St. Donatus’ Church.

    Other sights you’ll visit are the city walls, the Roman Forum, the Romanesque Cathedral of St. Anastasia, the unique Sea Organ and more.

    Day 6ZADAR – KRKA NATIONAL PARK (OPTIONAL)*

    After breakfast, we suggest a day trip to the Krka National Park, only a short ride away from Zadar.

    Being one of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia, the Krka National Park boasts many wonderful footpaths and offers various sightseeing tours, boat trips, souvenir shops and restaurants.

    The main attraction is the popular Skradinski buk, a natural pool with wonderful waterfalls.

    After the excursion, return to your hotel.

    Day 7ZADAR (FREE TIME)

    Spend a day at leisure, relaxing on one of Zadar’s beaches or exploring its churches and museums.

    Alternatively, we can organise a day trip to the neighbouring town of Šibenik, with the UNESCO-protected cathedral.

    Day 8TRIP HOME FROM ZADAR/ZAGREB

    Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Zadar or Zagreb Airport for your flight home or to another hotel for the remainder of your stay.

    What is the food like in Croatia?

    Can I add extra activities to my itinerary after I've paid the deposit?

    Yes. Any additional cost will be added to your remaining balance invoice, which is due 60 days prior to your departure.

    What if I need assistance while in Croatia or have further questions?

    Your agent will share their personal mobile phone number with you; you’re welcome to contact them anytime (we recommend Whatsapp to save money!) should you have any questions or need assistance.

    Deposit

    A minimum deposit of 20% is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days before your departure date.

    Please note that the deposit and balance due date may vary depending on the nature of the booking.

    Is it possible to pay the total price of my holiday in instalments?

    Yes, just let your agent know that you’d like to pay in instalments. The full amount needs to be paid 60 days prior to your departure.

    What happens after I've paid the deposit?

    We’ll email the confirmation pack to you.

    Three weeks before departure, we’ll send you a pack containing all your travel documents (service vouchers).

    The pack will normally be sent to your home address.

    Alternatively, we can arrange the delivery to another address or to your hotel in Europe (applicable for clients travelling from other continents).

    City Tax

    Since 2007 the Croatian government has levied a tourist tax or otherwise known as a Sojourn tax.

    This is a tax imposed on all visitors and is common amongst virtually all the European countries.

    The tax is paid to the various tourist boards and used to maintain their tourist facilities.

    The amount levied ranges from 10kn to 20kn per person, per day depending on which town/city you are staying in and the season you arrive in.

    The tourist tax is calculated by the hotel and added to your final hotel bill when you check out.
