The city is also home to the Verona Arena, a 1st-century Roman amphitheatre, which currently hosts concerts and large-scale opera performances.
Besides its rich, romantic history, this is the place to relish local wine and hand-made pasta and marvel through months of opera festivals.

Today you will embark on a guided tour of the historic heart of Verona and discover the gems of the city of Romeo and Juliet.
You will wander among the UNESCO-inscribed monuments, such as the Arena.
This pink marble Roman amphitheater was built in 30 AD and is considered one of the best-preserved structures of its kind.
Today it serves as the main venue for the summer opera festival.
Your tour will include a visit to Juliet’s famous balcony and house (Casa di Giulietta) as well as quaint medieval buildings and iconic squares of this beautiful city.
Discover the heart of the historic centre with the famous Piazza Erbe and Torre dei Lamberti, the Verona Cathedral, Piazza Dei Signori and the fascinating Arche Scaligeri.

Enjoy a day trip to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to Garda Lake where you’ll have a whole day to explore the area at leisure.
Lake Garda boasts striking scenery great for lakeside walks and spectacular photos.
There are also opportunities to take boat trips around the lake.
Return to Verona in the evening.

You will have the morning free to do some last-minute shopping, or to have a final wander around the town, before your transfer to the airport for your onward journey home.
