The summer season 2017 is now officially over and many travellers are back from their holidays, developing family holiday pictures or sharing them on social media. Now when you’ve unpacked your bags and started getting ready for autumn, it is a perfect time to… well, book your 2018 summer holiday!
With that in mind, we have taken a good look at the most affordable flight options from UK airports to various destinations in beautiful Croatia. Thanks to the growing popularity of this tiny country, there is a wide selection of flights to Croatia from nearly every airport in the United Kingdom. So buckle up and take a look at the most affordable flights to Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar and Pula in 2018!
Here’s our list of the most affordable airlines flying to Croatia from UK airports in 2018:
Easyjet flies frequently to Croatia’s cities of Split, Dubrovnik and Pula, the earliest flights departing to Dubrovnik at 05:55 AM and arriving at 09:35 AM local time. The flight duration is about 2 hours 40 minutes.
In the beginning of May 2018, you can book an Easyjet flight from London Gatwick to Dubrovnik from 30 one way. For example, if you book a 10-night holiday in Dubrovnik from the 7th until the 17th of May, you’ll only pay £70 per person for a round trip. In mid-July, a return 10-night trip to Dubrovnik can be booked for as little as £99 per person, which is a very good price for high season.
Easyjet offers flights to Split and Dubrovnik from London Stansted for £60 both ways if you travel in May 2018. The flights in most cases depart early, around 6:00 AM. This gives you more time in Croatia, even though waking up might be somewhat difficult!
If you want to fly to Pula or Rijeka, it’s best to book your flight with Ryanair from London Stansted. In mid-May 2018 you can fly for only £26.99 to Pula; the flight departs in the afternoon, at 17:20. Return Ryanair flights from Pula back to London Stansted start from 30.99 in May 2018. Tickets are very affordable in high season too – if you book soon, you can get a return flight from London Stansted to Pula in July for only £50 with Jet2.
Fly to the beautiful city of Split, a home to the famous Diocletian’s Palace, from London Luton. In May 2018 direct flights with Easyjet can be booked for as little as £56 for a return ticket if you’re staying in Split for 7 nights. The flight duration is about 2 hours 30 minutes and it departs at 06:40, arriving in sunny Split at 10:10 local time. The return flight from Split departs at 10:45, arriving in London at 12:25 local time.
Prices are slightly higher in June and July, but if you hurry up, you can find a return ticket from London Luton to Split in July 2018 for only £77.
Another option from London Luton is a direct flight to chic Zadar with Easyjet, departing at 06:20 for only £51 both ways in mid-May 2018. A round trip in high season would cost you about £70 if you stay for a week.
Fly to Split from Manchester in mid-May 2018 from 54 both ways with Easyjet. The return flight in July 2018, if you’re spending 7 nights in Croatia, would cost you around £100.
Another option from Manchester is an Easyjet flight to Dubrovnik, departing at 12:45 and arriving at 16:45 local time. The flight duration is around 3 hours and the cost in mid-May is £109 for a round trip. In high season, you can still find flights for around the same price or slightly more expensive.
Ryanair flies to Zadar from Manchester and the return ticket can be booked for around £60 in May and £75 in June and July 2018. The flight departs at 17:50 from Manchester and arrives in Zadar at 21:35. The return flight departs from Zadar at 22:00, taking you to Manchester at 23:40 local time.
Easyjet departs for Dubrovnik from Edinburgh three times a week over summer. This would cost you from 94 for a 7-night round trip in the end of June 2018, £112 in the end of July and £95 in mid-August next year.
From Edinburgh, you can fly to Pula, Split and Dubrovnik with Jet2. The flights are available from 45 one way in May and June 2018. The flight duration to Croatia from Edinburgh is around 3 hours.
Fly to Dubrovnik, Split or Pula from Leeds Bradford with Jet2. The flights start from 45 one way and depart twice a week. A return flight to Pula in mid-July 2018 would cost you £119 if you stay in Croatia for a week.
A flight to Dubrovnik from Belfast with Jet2 takes a bit over 3 hours. In late July it is possible to book a flight from 51 one way.
Easyjet flies to Split from Belfast; in mid-May 2018 flights are available from 90 for a round trip. This flight departs at 18:00 and arrives in Split at 22:00 local time.
